About Me

Where to start…I was a teenage mother and am now a middle aged grandmother of two; Chandler and Jayden whom I just adore.  I have two children; Tawneey and Richard, a twin sister; Cheryl, who is also one of my best friends, two brothers; Ken and Tim, five nieces; Sasha, Kim, Kelsey, Stefani and Blythe, one nephew; Preston, one great-niece; Kylee and two great-nephews; Eathan and Jacob.  I also have two surrogate nieces; Christina and Stephannie and one surrogate nephew; Ryan who are the children of my best friend since high school; Beverly.  I’m not allowed to actually put years to how long we have known each other, it dates us. My extended family consists of four cats; Snickers, Louie, Dongwa and Billy Jude.

Family is obviously very important to me.  Tawneey, Chandler, Jayden and Tawneey’s fiance Jason all currently live with me.  We share a piece of property with Cheryl and Blythe and Mom, Dad and Richard are about a 5 minute drive from here.  Unfortunately, Tim broke away from Tucson and moved to Missouri and Ken lives on the other side of town so I don’t see them as often as the others.

I am a Native of Tucson and currently work with Beverly at Arizona Small Business Accounting. I get to see my family all the time and my best friend. Does it get any better? After ten years of an undiagnosed and painful medical condition I have finally been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. The past ten years were a huge struggle but I persevered as we Larkins do.  Being a teenage mother, college was not possible right out of high school but I went back in 2003 and got my Associates Degree in Business Administration. This year I am hoping to return to school. I love learning and truly value education.

In my spare time I love hanging out with Chandler and Jayden, playing video games online, on the computer or on my Playstation 2.  I also enjoy reading, watching movies and have recently developed a love for crafting through the influence of my Mom.
